Bernie is a great believer in children and regularly supports fund raising events that are designed to assist children's charities. Bernie donated part of her royalties from her single 'Macushla' to the Stillborn and Neo Natal Death Society. Bernie walked the Great Wall of China in May 2006 to raise much needed funds for the Children's Society. Bernie seeks no publicity for her charity work.
