Maureen
has been singing with her sisters since she was nine years old.
Together they became one of Europe’s first girl band’s, The
Nolans. The Nolan’s success is legendary including phenomenal
record sales worldwide, particularly in Japan where they sold
more records than The Beatles! They have worked with some of the
world’s most respected artistes including Frank Sinatra.
Maureen is respected as one of the best
actresses to have played the part of Mrs Johnstone in Blood
Brothers in the West End. She became the 4th Nolan sister,
following Bernie, Denise & Linda to play the part earning them
entry into The Guinness Book of World Records in 2007. Also that
year, Maureen toured the UK in the new comedy musical Girls
Behind playing the part of Sadie before rejoining the cast of
Mum's The Word in 2008 alongside her sister Bernie. Following on from a national tour in Footloose -
the Musical, Maureen returned to the cast of Blood Brothers for
a nationwide tour in early 2009. Maureen is a veteran of the
pantomime arena & recently played the Good Fairy in Sleeping
Beauty at the Gala Theatre, Durham. Now Maureen has re-joined her
much acclaimed sisters for a Nolans reunion tour which has
just captured the imagination of the public & media alike. The Nolans
are back, looking & sounding as good as ever. They are set to
take the UK by storm 30 years on from their biggest hit, "I'm in
the Mood for Dancing".
