Anne - is the eldest Nolan sister and was born in Ireland but moved to Blackpool at the age of 11 to join her family working the northern clubs with their parents and brothers. In 1973 the opportunity arose for the female members to move to London to seek their fame and fortune. The Nolan Sisters group were  launched and the rest as they say is history! Anne's contribution to the band shouldn't be overlooked, (she briefly left the act in 1980 - 82). Anne was still performing with The Nolans in 2005, alongside Maureen and her daughter Amy, when the group disbanded. This lovely lady now has a solo career, has written her biography and has released a solo album and does a lot of charity work.
